Welcome to the world of Tempting Light Photography. I am passionate about the world around me and all life within. We cannot get away from the fact that over millions of years the third rock from the sun, namely The Earth has experienced many violent events from volcanic periods through to ice ages and desert landscapes. The world is changing around us, we all see and hear in the media about global warming and it's effects. The ice from our polar regions is melting at an alarming rate, deforestation of the rain forests disrupt all lives in them, to name but two. Some say the human race is responsible, can anything be done and perhaps it's not too late, only if we have the will to alter our behaviour. Others may disagree, could the Earth be going through another natural cycle of change?
My philosophy can be summed up in a quote by a native American Indian Oren Lyons, faithkeeper of the Onondaga tribe "In our way of life, in our government, we always keep in mind the Seventh Generation to come. It's our job to see that the people coming ahead, have a world no worse than ours - hopefully better. When we walk on Mother Earth we always plant our feet carefully because we know the faces of our future generations are looking up at us beneath the ground. We never forget them".
