The Gallery: The Gallery: Tokyo Nights
Tokyo is a perplexing city that defies simple translation. Eye searing neon lights and messy overhead cables, constant noise often clogged by traffic with 12 million people sqeezed into small apartments. Stereotypical urban nightmare!
Why would you want to visit? The city is an exilerating introduction to just a sample of Japanese lifestyle.
The city has also been an inspiration for many film makers, among them the cult film Blade Runner. The director Ridley Scot used the district of Shinjuku to good effect. Still worth a visit today, to capture the atmosphere.
These five limited edition prints are my tribute to this twenty four hour city. Each image is restricted to five copies only in either framed or canvas form.
